Becoming A Woman

Um, hello. Well, I'm slammed at work, hence the delay in posting. Good news is you haven't missed much. Absolutely nothing exciting happened for at least a week and a half after returning from war. Good for recovery I suppose. And then suddenly, out of nowhere, a million interesting things happened. None of which I have time to discuss in detail. In later posts perhaps.

Highlights include:

1) A date with a Dominican. Holy hell are those boys ever lovers! Not literally, yikes! The furthest sexual relations went was a wet one on the cheek. Super fun night though, great company. A touch to much machismo for this girl however. Pick up line of the evening (there was many, it was hard to select a clear cut winner): "kiss me dammit".

2) I met my singing boyfriend. I haven't had a chance to tell him about our relationship yet. Oh, which reminds me, I have to figure out how to 1) meet and 2) inform the rest of my unsuspecting boyfriends. This will most certainly keep me busy. There are many.

3) I fell in love. The lucky object of my affection? A Specialized Epic. I really really think I have something special with this one. I am forever resisting the urge to talk dirty.

4) I Almost died. Yes again. Twice in fact. First time, I rolled off the back of my ball at work. Second time, I inhaled through my nose in the Prairie View out house.

5) Any remnants of abs from the pilates queen days officially disappeared. I will work to rectify the situation.

Oh, if you're still there, here's an interesting little tid bit. I have been mass consuming peanut butter and avocados. Separately of course. I am not yet completely mad. Also, the avocado has yet to graduate to peanut butter delivery mechanism status (like it's friends the apple and the banana have). What is behind the spike in consumption? You got me. Perhaps my body is undergoing changes? Perhaps, I have finally hit puberty? And most exciting, perhaps, I will finally develop these "breasts" everyone keeps talking about. I will keep you posted.

Special mention goes to my buddy Marcos...I love the poem!!! Everyone else, your feedback leaves something to be desired. Learn by example. Write me poems. Please.
