Surviving an explosion
um, ok....doo doo doo... What to say, what to say... Well I guess I should start off by thanking god for letting me escape reasonably unscathed from the brown sugar explosion I just endured. Whilest engaging in domestic duties (making an apple crisp) I disturbed the forces of a violent vacuum inside the brown sugar container. The consequences were near fatal. Please do not worry. I am ok. The crisp is ok.
Next. The million dollar idea. I'll start by saying this, I believe a lot of great ideas are born when people are firing lasers at other people. This was the case at my latest laser hair removal appointment. I was thinking 1) oweeeee (different owee than the broken ankle owee though) and 2) the brazillians really nailed it with the the brazillian wax. Hair is really not required in all the areas one might normally expect to find it. As such, I will devise a scheme by which to achieve the brazillian wax without the unpleasantness of laser warfare. If you have any ideas, please, send them my way.
I've been doing a lot of yoga. I feel as though I've reached a sufficient level of rubberiness. This pleases me. So I go to a new yoga class yesterday and this funny little european man decides that tonight he will "show us tricks to impress our boyfriends". Very cool stuff! I am confident my currently mythical mountain man will one day appreciate this man's valiant efforts.
I also went to see my chirpractor yesterday. I'm on the waiting list to see a doctor to get dextrose(?) injections in my shoulder. So here's deal, they poke you with a needle, dodge, dip and duck around some nerves, wait till they strike bone and inject. I'm gonna slot this one in below salsa lessons on the fun scale. Visits over now. I go to sign my visa bill, and I try not once, twice, but three times, with no success, to leave this lucky woman my autograph. I figure I've given it the old college try. I inform her that her pen is broken. At which point she directs my attention to the "clicky thing" at the top. Ah.
On a seperate note, although not immediatley obvious, you should know that I am brilliant. Yes, it's true. In fact, I'm thinking of holding a lecture series at work "How to empty the dish washer", "What to do if the garbage is full", "What's that funny smell?"...it would be free and all are welcome.
One last thing, I leave for bike camp tommorrow morning! Woo hoo hoo! (Note: If you ever see multiple "hoo"s at the end of the "woo", the extra "hoo"s are indicative of extra excitement). I have to miss 2 salsa lessons. This makes me sad. It's not entirely bad though, as it gives me time to buy dancing shoes. Yes, you read right, now it's getting serious. I had no idea, but it turns out trail runners and/or sketchers are not ideal for salsa. Huh, who knew?! One of the many valueable lessons life has to offer I guess. Ok well, I think a valuable lesson is great place to end.
